Being a politics maniac & into contemporary issues I'm always glued to the TV watching news or keeping ma ears open for any new bits of info...and since vincy piece ah flabsy sumn dey call news nt substantial MY favourite channel is CNN....az hot ah gyal az I am I still watch more CNN than BET...or wateva it is yung pple watch dem dayz.....n e wayz I saw 1 d most sad [yet slightly pathetic] stories d other night - 13 yr old Megan commits suicide over an inexistent "Josh Evans"...for those who haven't seen that story it goes sumn like dis - 13 yr old Megan falls in love with a "Josh Evans" boy on Myspace...but "Josh Evans" turns out to actually be a fictitious boy created by 1 of Megan's frenz [well ex-ish] mother [Lori Drew] & the mother's fren....Megan and Lori's daughter seemed 2 have had a falling out and so Lori created "Josh" to apparently find out if Megan was 'bad-talkin' her daughter.....over an estimated 28 days period "Josh" had a cyber relationship with Megan....it started out picture perfect & sweet..."Josh" meant the world to Megan and she 'fell in love' with the charming character until towards the end "Josh" suddenly turned against her...verbally abusin her...being mean....n encouraging her to commit suicide by tellin her things like the world would be better off without her.....heartbroken Megan sends 1 last message to "Josh" b4 she takes her own life "You're the kind of boy a girl would kill herself over".....her father & mother were downstairs when they heard a "blood-curling" scream n rushed up 2 Megan's room to find her hanging frm her closet by a belt....her father begged her to breathe "breathe Megan breathe please" [crying] while Mom runs to get a knife to cut her down....Dad tries CPR....but sadly Megan departs tears rolling down her cheeks.....
The malicious mother Lori is said to have known that Megan was psychologically & emotionally unstable and so took advantage of this.....now nowhere in this sad news do I get the impression of any 'finding-out-if-she's-bad-talkin-my-daughter' tasks being completed...all the Constant Princess gathered was a story of a 30 year old woman who used her daughter's personal social life as an excuse to persuade a fragile 13 yr old to kill herself....
Defense wants to have the case dismissed altogether claimin that Lori cannot possibly be held responsible for Megan's suicide but I think she can....and definitely should....they're coming up with all kinds of petty stuff to charge her with like 'violating Myspace's Terms of Service' like wtf....that woman just caused a girl to kill herself!....I firmly believe that without "Josh" Megan wouldn't have done what she did.....and who was "Josh"?? Lori & her assistant....so it was done over the internet indirectly....SO WHAT....justice must be served....that just ain't right...I watched Megan's mother stricken face...listened to her father...watched him cry...n tears actually rolled down MY cheeks....I hav a heart of ice but it melts...sometimes.....it just ain't right....I felt this one....just imagine how they feel.....
Now in vincy n also the caribbean the crazy stuff we hear goin on foreign does hardly or never go on home here....it jus seem a trend wit white girls 2 b abducted by random men met over the internet....sellin demselves 2 rape via webcam....committing suicide for all kind of wacko reasons......so as I sat watching the story I have to be honest I was unable to truly empathise at first because I don't even fret over guys....don't waste eye water for boys so 2 even IMAGINE killing myself over a boy....n make it worse sum boy who i ain't even meet in real life n only know for like a month on Myspace?????like huh???wtf???whack I tell u....whack....Constant P had to overcome that entire length of disbelief before truly soakin in the story....
So it seemed unbelievable...incomprehensible to me that 13 yr old Megan could kill herself for that reason but fact remains she did.....n it was those grown ass bitches of women faults...conniving n manipulative n insensitive n evil like that.....I wonder hw she feels nw?hw can she live wit herself?hw can her daughter live wit herself too?....the trial's in progress all now but the satisfactory punishment I wish for Lori n company doesn't seem promising but God doesn't sleep n NO bad deed goes unpunished.....so sad...my heart goes out to Megan's family.....sighs....
